Working for Dealership

Recommended Posts

I"m working for a dealership here in TX and would like to ask any fellow tinters out there who are working for a dealership or has worked for one, what is the best way to be paid... hourly or flat rate?

Also, any pros/ cons in working for a dealership?

Thanks so much!!!!

Here is my advice.

I worked for a dealer and negociated a sweet deal, we charged the customer $8 a foot for the tint and every foot was recorded, even if I wasted it. That was added up then the rest was labor. I got half of the labor on all work. So I was motivated to be fast, and efficient. If I wasted tint I lost money not just the dealer.

This is by far the best pay method I could think of. It benefits both sides. Speed and efficiencey are rewarded.
