I know we all come from different training backgrounds. There are a few standard techniques that we all have in common. How do you apply the bumper film from a pre cut kit. do you temp tack it to the bumper then unroll it or do you peel it off the liner from a table and try to mount a sometimes overwhelming piece? And does anyone require a second hand if you do it from the table?

Wet it all, fold it over itself so you only have to hold half of the whole bumper, set it somewhat in place, and unfold the other side. Then line up the middle and do one side at a time. This allows you to be able to control all of the film at one time and you never forget which side is the sticky side. Plus no chance of contamination from hitting the floor etc. etc..

Cheezer,

Sorry, been out of the office!

At our school we teach backrolling and it works extremely well. You can see our folks do it in our streaming videos online. We also teach that technique in our 5-day class. If you'd like more details, don't hesitate to call.

Cheers,
