yes everyone of you are right, they are frameless rollups. but the seal at the bottom of the window (top of panel) are so tight I find it hard to get the tint down in there. figured it would be easier for me to just pop the panel. my comp. just cuts those seals out. but that is not an option for me. maybe im just overly picky, I dont know.

I have taken the panels off before, 4 screws if I remember rightly. Don't bother, very easy to do, quick tip, flick the door latch across a couple of clicks, this will raise the glass to the 'closed door position'. If you lightly push outwards on the top edge of the glass it releases the pressure on the window gasket. Makes it alot easier to get the film in.
