Ya Illegal means NO RIGHTS but what does Beaner mean ya you probably don't know so don't use it. Also whats funny is that you want mexicans to go back to mexico if their not from here. Well guess what brother who's going to build your house, your streets, cut your yards and work your other low paid jobs hmmm ya mexicans. Most of the people trying to cross over are just looking for work to take care of their family's. Just like everybody says theirs always that bad apple.

No they come here to take american jobs from some low life business owner who hires them for low wages . I dont care where you come from if you are in OUR country you need to live by OUR rules and laws . The are called Illegal for a reason and for that fact box them up and send their asses back . I prefer the term "illegal aliens". that has morphed into illegal immigrant, which in turn has changed into undocumented worker. its bs political correctness. who was cutting the lawns before the "undocumented workers"? one rule that will always be is that workers always follow the jobs. lawns won't go unattended without "illegal immigrants" doing the work. to think we couldn't fill positions like these is ridiculous. the real question is how do you solve the illegal alien problem when your politician sees them as a huge potential voting block? its costing us billions...

I understand the anger, but using those kinds of labels (beaners for example) instantly turns people off to your argument, no matter how sound it is and also plays into that group's hand and empowers them as "oppressed" and "victims of racism" which just makes it that much harder to have any kind of solution. :rimshot

      help arquitectural in Puerto Rico heat

      Hi, new to the forum but a previous lurker. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on tints for a business in Puerto Rico who's windows face north (humidity 80% temp 70-100). Main concern is heat reduction though i would like for it to not be super dark since it is a work area. Have not contacted installers yet since I wanted to have some knowledge about products and specs beforehand to make sure im getting what i need. Thank you! From what i've gathered i should look out for: dual reflective film and low absorptive/high solar reflection products used this topic among others for research: "should be a go-to such as: 3M's Night Vision15 or NV25, Vista Film's Dual Reflective18 or DR 28, LLumar's DR15 or DR25 (which closely matches 3M NV), or Madico's Optivision in and around the same number assignment. The numbers assigned to films represent the visible light transmission of the product." "The higher the reflectivity of a film product, the better when dealing with desert heat."

      It looks like the end of the roll was used which has adhesive marks from being attached to the plastic core. You can't use the very end of the film roll.

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!
