Went through a similar situation with altel....

I had to port my number over to nextel...

Then they charged me a shitload for disconnect fees an shiz...

I was with them for about 8 years too...

Phock 'em, I paid 'em off and they won't see another cent of my mula...

EPB is finally coming out with Fiber-optic here. The state FINALLY agreed that Comcast needed some competition. It's gonna be about 6 months or so before it gets to my house, but I told EPB that they need to hurry up. Christ, I'll get my son and I out there with a shovel and pickaxe to help dig the trench for the lines!!! I don't care if it costs DOUBLE what Comcast charges. I believe that the only reason Comcast still has custys here is that there was no compeetition for ever.

Wouldn't ya'll just LOVE to be able to schedule appointments like they do? (OK, we'll be there between 8:00 and 2:00) If we ran our businesses with the kind of customer service Comcast gives out, we'd be screwed. Bottom line............................................................................
