I hope to hell they never change the laws here Getting license points for window film is total BS IMO. They should be for things a little more serious than that

what the hell is a point?

The point is to deter people from applying illegal tint to their windows rather than slapping them on the wrist, letting them remove it and put new tint on.

Now the generate revenue, apply a penalty and get them again in two months. BEWARE they don't tell you it gives you points unless you look into it.

I was talking to a couple of the local police here and they told me out of three of them and a combined 28 yrs experience they have issued 2 window tint tix and mainly because the driver was being a douche and they wanted to add something else. I guess we are pretty fortunate here I think cause of the big money in the valley there is more money than brains.
