Guest DENISCARS
has anyone had trouble doing rear windows of this model after shrinking I'll make small cuts along the corners about 2-3 inches on the sides down to maybe 5 inches toward the taillight. so when I'm squeegying the film the fingers I've made act like anchors seems to work for me every time. just .02 cents worth

Mdog
I have heard of relief cuts along the defroster lines, not just out in the open though
Guest Sprinter
no cuts here just leave the outside edges hang for a little while then squegee and use alittle heat, works better with a blue max more pressure on the tint down there.
Guest thetintshop
sorry, I have no idea what this guy is talking about. I've never had a problem with them.
TintDude
are you talking about this POS? I hate these things one of the main reasons
Guest DENISCARS
yup I'm yackin' about that POS the finger cuts I talking about are when looking at the back glass from the outside. from the bottom corners work up about 3-4 inches making small slices maybe only 1/4" long spaced at 1" apart then on the bottom edge work the same way toward the middle for about 4-5" those small cuts will work like fingers to hold down the film. so then I wont need to make relief cuts on the defrosters hope that explains it better

Guest Olfablade
I just did a 96 Thunder Chicken today, I have my helper pre heat the outside bottom corners when I squeegee, no probs with them popping back up
