My daughter scored three silvers out of three events last week at Nationals.

Man, she was pizzed! :rollin Her teammate and synchronized diving partner

swept for all gold.

I told her we are all proud of her and 2nd nationally is great but she REALLY

hates to get beat.

Now she's getting ready to go to Aachen, Germany on Team USA for the

Age Group World Championship early next month. This won't be her first

international meet, but her first world championship.

I wish we could afford to go.

Thought about a local raffle or community event to raise cash for the trip? Life is short, throw it on the credit card.

I took my friend Nate to SEMA last fall, money was an issue but I knew I would regret it if I didnt. We had a blast and in January Nate passed away it was a huge shock. I'll never forget the trip but I dont remember what it cost me. Sorry not trying to be morbid or anything, its just sometimes these things are worth it.

But ya never know, I think they fly the family out for the Olympics so wait four years and watch her there! :rollin

Thanks all. 5-oh, that one really makes ya think about the decisions one makes and the impact they have later. Thanks for sharing. I think she's looking forward to going as a "big girl" with the team. We all went to Puerto Rico last year to see her

bring home 2 golds and a bronze at the Pan-Am Games. That was awesome! A last minute trip to Germany would cost thousands,

so we'll just keep up on line! :rollin
