our cars have been built like sheet for the past 20 yr's.

the cars are heald together by plastic clips and brackets.

best cars made ar the 70's and earlier.

All Toyota's have this problem. The Prius is probably the worst of them all tho. I just know to add on the sides. On vehicles I don't know (there aren't many!), I roll the window down a bit and try wiggling it back and forth to see how much I have to add. I also put the edge of my fingernail on the outside rear edge of the glass and roll the window down then up to see how much it moves in it's frame. Most rear doors on a sedan move in their frame because the way the door is cut around the wheel arch.

tinted a 2003 toyota corolla 3 door yesterday,when I applied film to front roll ups and went to wind window back up the glass somehow seemed to drop foward and yo could see nearly the whole side of the glass it was hardly catching the rubber by 2mm,so I held it straight and winded it up into place and told customer he would have to get them fixed somehow,my question is what do you guys do in this situation as when window is down you can see edge of film

Its a regulator problem.
