Solar Gard new UP darker films

Recommended Posts

We did our first UP 40 job and were very impressed with the product. Shrunk nice for a very thick film. In fact we had to almost triple the down force on our plotter blade for this film. Any other observations?

My good friend who is all about plotters told me it was something like 260 was getting him the best results. On some cars it seems easier to pull panels and do extra shrinking on the outside before install to help it lay down nicely. If you need to give it a lot of heat to get it to lay down it wont react like a standard film, best to leave it be and hit it when its dried a little.
