the backs of those trucks are a factory privacy glass and are a charcoal color. ask for a charcoal colored film if you want it to match.

llumar ATR charcoal film is a good match.

When matching factory tint, ask the installer to put samples of his film on your front door windows prior to the install so you can see how good it will match. Not all films look the same and don't have the same appearance.

Whats the best way to tint the 250's with a clear back glass and of course the good old ford without the black boarder and not get any light gaps?

some guys here take the window out.

myself I trim the gasket out on the inside that gives you room to slide the tint in with no light gaps. I stick my olfa blade out a click or two and just trim around the gasket on the inside. I trim the pattern on the outside and stick it in.

when I say trim the gasket this is what I mean. yoiu want to trim a angled V shape in the gasket. doing this allows you to make your pattern slightly bigger and hide the light gap.

MDOG thanks for the nice drawing, I don't care what they say. So, when you trim the pattern on the outside a little larger, are you cutting the film out on the rubber gasket instead of on the glass as if you normally would if you had the black boarder?
