Our Friend T.D.'s car was burnt up and totaled. :dunno We all know He is in the process of moving to Oregon. He has alway's gone out of His way to help people on this forum. Let's all try to help our Brother out! If You can't afford to send anything, please send some good vibe's out to Him and His family! :bingo

I'm actually more bummed out about one of my cats right now. we had to put them in the carriers and take them out to our other car down the street, when we brought them back in, my boy cats paw was bleeding, I guess he was freaked out pretty bad, I don't know if he got hurt putting him in the cage or if he was pawing trying to get out. :dunno

Shay has gone to bed now. We gave Odie some of his sedative that we got him for the trip and he is staggering around like he's drunk, I hope he can fall asleep soon, I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.

When My first SRT-10 burnt up...(Rest Her Soul!) Yes, it was covered by insurance....but the almost $15000.00 in upgrades weren't. My point is, You can never account for everything with insurance. What if the cat has to go to the vet? What if RIC has to go to the vet?! :dunno for His hands? Like I said in the initial post. Please send good vibes His way.

poor thing...I would love to help....About the cat just give him tons of love that will make him feel better.....Cat treats work also.....Wish you the best of luck with everything.......

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.

      At least twice, yes. Although since we don't know what vehicle it is you're planning to tint, that was a bit presumptuous of me.
