Hey, can any of you guys hook me up with some pointers on doing a back window on a 64 el camino. we'd like to do it one piece, if possible, naturally. thank you :twocents

Clear out as much of the interior urethane goop as you can, then make a pattern from the INSIDE, cut the film, shrink on the outside and install. If you try to cut your film on the outside it will never fit. The shrink isn't as bad as it looks, it's the urethane and size difference that makes it a PITA. :twocents

Thank you so much, I think the problem is it's not a 64. its a compound curve like a vette and I've been hearing it should be flat. the customer pulled the glass and brought it in, so idk....

You will have it easy out of the car for sure. I do what tintdude said, cut it small and if the inside if all messed up, leave a gap and make a black border with stripe. I used to have a camino. Thats how it was done. :hmmm:lol2
