shrinking metalized film

when I heat shrink 2ply metalized 50% tint it gets a gostly appearence where I have shrunk it. why is that? im not over heating it or anything am I? thanks.

Yes, over heating. You should be dry shrinking, of course! :beer

I use if your door glass though. how can I dry shrink? do I do same as with a back piece (tack both side ends and shrink up and down)?
