Head unit suggestion

Recommended Posts

I am looking into a full face deal. Main reasons are for navi and bluetooth. I dont have subs etc.. the ipod hookup which is about standard is another bonus.

Any suggestions? Just want a trusted brand, and something on the durable side.

Thanks guys.

Its going in a 07' F150 if that matters.

I have a jvc kd-r300 in the car I just bought and from what I have found there is a bluetooth adapter I can add to it (bta-200?). I am curious if anyone has any experience with it and how well it works? is it worth the money and what should I expect to pay?

I realize this is from a few months back but maybe your question hasn't been answered. Put a ddin JVC in my wifes Nitro with the KS-BTA200, sound quality not quite as good as Parrot but solid none the less. Had it in there for about nine months then bought her a new phone and sound quality went down the drain. The person on the other end, witch was usually me, got bad echoes and feed back. So I figured it had to be software issue. Got the distributor to switch it out with a newer manufactured one and sound quality was good again. Then about a month ago, had had new unit about 6 months, the bluetooth went bad and caused the radio to quit working. Pulled the bluetooth out and JVC radio works fine. I am just gonna put a Parrot in for her that the software can be updated. Retail on the KS-BTA200 is about $150
