Graphtec Plotter Noise

I posted in the graphtec forum, but no response because i dont think it gets many views.

Graphtec FC-7000

does anyone know what is causing this noise?

it does it while it cuts as well, just whenever its moving, i just took a video of when i loaded media though because the faster its moving the more noticeable it is.

the plotter still works and cuts fine, but i would like to get it fixed before it wrecks something else.

any info would be great, or even who i can call.

EEK! it is that bad hey, ive almost become use to it with the last few kits i have had to cut, makes me cringe using it though.

I get real nervous about stuff like that..... When the tool I use to make my living starts to do strange things I address it quickly

take off the cover and see it go and if theres something in the case. or check the wheels on the back of the carriage. maybe ones stuck. there only a few moving parts in there.

It's LLumar badged. I'd call Melvin at Precison Cut - he's a good plotter technician.

I hear what you are saying by it sounds worse with the speed. Sounds like its rubbing up against something while its shifting from side to side. Definitely get that looked at.

_{also, you have one roller to the side. Usually with 3 roller plotters you have to use all three.}
