BMW antenna

Recommended Posts

What you see is a plastic cap stuck to the roof with 3m double sided sticky tape. Use string and cut it off or get In there with an olfa to cut it. Don't put pressure on the roof to pry it off you will dent it. Then the electronics underneath come off with a screw

very true about certain bmw's. however, e60, newer x5,newer x6, new 7series, newer z, cars all have a silicone type seal that holds them down. I removed one off of a e60 m5 and it was a nightmare, definetly not just 3m double sided tape.

but yes, you are very correct, all e9x 3-series cars have the antenna cover held down by 3m doublesided tape.
