G'day all.

I feel a little embarrassed that in all my time I still haven't touched an FG.

Have my first tomorrow.

Are they similar to a BA - BF for pulling apart?

Also do you have to go non metallized?

Cheers.

Much easier to tint than the BA - BF, you'll love it.

If you're pulling panels just be careful with the imitation woodgrain plastic piece around the door handle, underneath is 2 screws but you can mark the trim easy or even break the plastic cover if you're too rough.

You can pop them and pull the gasket out if you want.

Had one to do today, I even pull the rear deck , it only takes a minute... 6 push in plugs and a baby seat bolt.

Spot on with Rocky.

Take the rear deck out as it takes 5 mins and makes the rear a breeze.

I pull the rubber seals on all doors as well and as Rocky said watch the way the plastic surround which maybe in silver (depending on the model) for the front doors works.

You prise from the front (there's a factory slot) and lift back towards you to clear if from its slots and then at the very rear, it slides forward.

Be careful at this end because if you pull it straight out, you will almost certainly break the factory hook.

Far better do do than the disastrous AU/BA.

Thanks so much fellas!!!!!!!!

Sounds easy and can't wait.

Will take photos for sure. It's white with black striping.

A veloster is also booked for tomorrow.

Many thanks.

Cheers.

wow, that car is sexy!! are those factory wheels??

Yep, Falcon GT straight from the dealer to me for tinting. Pure Aussie 'balls and all' muscle car posing as a family sedan. Coyote V8 335kw engine out of the Mustang.

Mates shop had a stock 2010 335kw manual on the dyno the other day, it turned 440+hp atw... think Ford underrated them :thumb . Bit late now, little light heat will take out any marks in the trim from prying out the handle surround if required.
