Yeah, a lot of darker dyed films aren't covered by colour change warranty, I've never had too many problems , but yeah I hear ya.

Part of what you weigh up when specifying or just inform the custy of this up front and let them choose their option I suppose.

I like and use a fair bit of true vue as well.

I don't use it now since I saw that on the warranty. And its a pretty expensive film here in UK. There are other dual reflective films around. Most my customers preferred the blue colour of another manufacturer, than the brown of True Vue. Its not good for a business cos which customer would happily choose a film that will change colour and fade.

Be a premium dealer with whatever manuf. you go with. Helps you stand out and compete with better warranties. I will say that out of all the film I have ever installed, Slate is oh so nice. :thumb:cool

Snappy, the only company I have went for the premium deal was SunGard back in the days of diamond dealers. I was charged around 10% more for the same product with a label over the original film box that said diamond! I had to pay for the no fault warrantee that in the fine print only covered one window one time. Are the other newer programs by other manufactures better now days? Just wondering??

Cheers mang
