Best plotter and software?

I know that this has been discussed in the past but since the technology changes so fast I was wondering what currently people are using? Also do you recommend getting the plotter used vs new? I see a lot of plotters/software for sale here on the forum but not realy sure if its ok to go that route if you need to put a good amount of money into rebuilding a plotter (If there is a lot to go wrong). As you can see I have never had one before so im tring to get some input prior to making a large purchase. Thanks in advance

Stick with a good brand that is trusted and actually used for tint. Solar Gard is offering a special right now for a 40" plotter and a year of the service for $4k, which is a great deal. I will be getting the 72" plotter soon.

Roland plotters are tanks, I got 3 people wanted the one I posted. Software is available as 30 day demos. Search function broke again eh?
