I have a 1995 Jetta GLS and I wanted to tint everything but the windshield. I want the 2 front windows lighter then the back 2 and the back window. I dont want them too dark, but just about when you can see inside a little. But at night you wouldnt see nothing. How much would a good price be for that kind of job. I want the tint black. Thanks

Check in the Tinters Registry and you might find a member in here from your area that you can call. I don't think you will get a price posted in here. Good luck!

Prices vary from shop to shop. So make sure you ask about experience and how long they've been around. So that you get a good job for a good price. Cheaper is not always better.

That's a double negative. Doesn't it really mean that you would see something. :hmmm

Looks as though you are from Illinois. Take a look at your tint laws. Looks like you might not legally be able to put any film on the fronts. :hmmm

  Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

  Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

  I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..
