Problems tinting Windshields, with Light Density Aluminum tint

Recommended Posts

I was tinting a 2011 Toyota Sienna Van, with Light Density Aluminum tint 70% and after installing it on to the windshield, I had a really hard time get the film to stick on the sides,(finger looking bubbles). With that tint, should I use a different type of soap in my bottle or something else.?

I know what you mean with that film 808.

No matter how smooth you shrink, it sort of puckers around the edge on install.

Try cutting oversize, shrinking and then trimming back to size.

Seems to sit down much better then.
