UPDATE: Thank You TD Community!!!

Recommended Posts

I was just looking back through "my content" and came across the post I've referenced below.

I've come along way since then. I'm doing cars consistently in 1.5 hours. I even did one a few days ago in 1:06:00 and another in 1:11:00 earlier this week.

My business has grown enormously since those days as well. Iv gone from 2-3 cars/week to 4 cars/day

Again I just wanted to thank the community for all their help in my early days. I'm not on here as much as I use to be but I would be where I am today without you guys.

I just did another car in around 2hrs 30mins. This one came in at 2:32:51.

Thanks every one who left tips on my last post about time.

I made some adjustments. Here is what I did this time.

1. applied dryer sheet to back glass (did this first to give glass time to dry)
2. double cut front, back, & 1/4s
3. Shrunk and installed back glass
4. Installed drivers side front, back & 1/4
5. Installed passenger side front, back & 1/4

The only negative issue I had was that I told my custy that it would take 3 - 3.5 hrs to complete so I had to sit and wait for them to show up.
(I still plan on telling my custys 3 - 3.5 hrs until I know that I can consistently deliver at the 2.5 hr mark Better safe than sorry)

Someone made mention of using bar soap instead of dryer sheets. I still want to try that to see the difference.

Thanks again every for the tips. This forum is full of awesome people.

I've been using bar soap for a few years now. I like it. You never run out.
