I just told him don't expect much to get done if there isn't much there to help out. They pretty much understand how I am when it comes to things like this and have the phones transferred most the time at least. But as far as walk ins, I gotta handle that without making the customer feel rushed. For the most part I've been handling it fine, but I mentioned that it's getting old...real fast.

Phone transfers only give the higher ups to promise unrealistic jobs to be done without really know whats going on around the shop.

I have had people come in to have a full vehicle tinted because the person that was getting the calls outside the shop thought I had nothing going on and I could fit them right in. How the hell would they know if they ain't here?

That's classic right there. I had a receptionist that didn't last because she would just figure I was a human octopus with all sorts of squeegees and knives to hold to tint multiple cars all day by myself.
