Kia Surround View issues?

Recommended Posts

Apparently there's a new bit of technology that Kia has released called "Surround View". It sounds to me like the Nissan backup camera that looks like it's an overhead satellite shot instead of just a camera on the back. The issue that a fellow tinter has had is with tinting the windshield. It seems tinting it with anything (even 70% dyed film) disrupts the Surround View. Anybody heard of this or have any input as to solutions? The particular vehicle in question is a 2016 Optima.

I was working on a 2016 f150 that had surround view. The salesman said there were 2 camera's top of windshield. Judging by the amount of crap up there I would agree. Maybe you can isolate where the camera's are?
