ANYBODY OUT THERE GOT ANY SECRETS ON THE INSTALL FOR A HELLCAT HOOD

I wish, I tried 4 times on my charger hood. Some said steam some said heat, some said gel. If you figure it out, please share so I can pull the bikini piece off. I tried both flexishield and 3m.

THE FIRST ONE I DID WAS THE CHARGER VERSION. AFTER WASTING THE FIRST PIECE I ENDED UP DOING IT OUTSIDE IN THE FLORIDA SUN WITH WARM WATER WITH THE MOTOR RUNNING. I GOT THE JOB DONE BUT IT WOULDN'T WIN A PPF CONTEST...THAT BEING SAID IM EXTREMELY PICKY WITH MY WORK, THE CUSTOMER LOVED IT.

I HAVE THE CHALLENGER HELLCAT IN HERE TODAY WITH A VERY SIMILAR HOOD OBVIOUSLY, IM GOING TO USE THE KIT THIS TIME INSTEAD OF BULK CUT TO SEE HOW IT GOES.

I pull the vents and bulk with extra soap and a cheap walmart hand held steamer. After stretching across the portion in front of the vents I tack it lightly in the center of the stretch and release the slack to sink 90% of the vent depression. Then finish the rest as usual. FWIW I dont use any alcohol in my solution, ever. Only for prep. I find it burns/ distorts the glue.
