  1. Took us 13 hrs with 3 ppl to remove this 12 years old adhesive from Ventureshield and install 3M Pro Series. Anyone have have a quicker way to remove old adhesive. I have use almost everything and Rapid Remover work the best but still so time consuming. We had to buff the partial front of the corvette after removal and paint came out looking good. I actually either broke even or made very tiny little profit after it was done. I got to find a faster way to remove it or charge more.

Do you have to put wood down for lowered or low cars with ground effects?

    Any problems with this?

Also, is it to long for shorter frame vehicles?  Say the little Mini Cooper or a Fiat Abarth or a Smart car?

You don't have to put wood down....you can lift Porsche and corvette with no problem...  It might be too long for a smart car... Overall it will work on most car.  It is worth the money..  The vehicle you just mention don't spend no money on paint protection from my experience...

The one piece units are a little less portable.  I think the portability of the Quickjack is the point.

If you are going to be stationary, I would look into something a little more stable and a one piece unit.

Now or if you are going to be mobile or just have a small garage, the Quickjack is probably a great way to go.

A stationary 4 post lift cost about the same...but it cost anywhere from 2k to 4k on installation.  I have the 4 post at our oil change place we used to own...we bought this because sometimes we have to used it in our detail, wash, and warehouse and it can move around in our lot to different departments.

I saw videos on that holding 3 times its max weight. My only concern is the side to side, like if you pushed really hard on the drivers door will it roll the ramp over in the short direction? I'm wondering how much force would make that happen. I would still want to pop some jack stands under there to be safe lol

Why would you want to do that? :dunno .  If you had a 4 post lift and decided to push up on the rear bumper, do you think it might fall?  It work and it work good that all I know.

  5. Yeah...They won't dare open up a shop in Cali....PFS (Protective Film Solution) will tear them apart....They are Xpel largest customer.

I don't like the practice they do here in Houston...But it is what it is.  They are the best in marketing ppf ....and they went 0 - 100mph in no time, beating 3M at their own game.  In 2008 when we first started installing ppf, it was almost unheard of. I was doing 3 - 6 vehicle a month.  Now since after the aggressive Facebook ad and Hurricane Harvey,,.....we are book solid. They took most of the high end vehicle in Houston since they are next to them and have a personal relationship with one of the chain of dealer.

I doubt it since the machine that makes Crystalline is $200 million and Crystalline did not start as a window film.  I am sure a Rayno friendly person told you that.

Hahahhaha....Rayno is far from inventing a film to match Crystalline. Your phone and tv screen probably habe Crystalline on it.

  7. Just did an aggressive Facebook ad to boost up our sale before we head off to SEMA.  The phone won't quit ringing.  I can't even keep up.  Been booking appointment all morning.  Maybe this Facebook ad work or maybe it is because 700,000 vehicle just got total loss due to Hurricane Harvey. I would recommend doing this.
