Sorry I didn't get back early enough to respond... It ain't good for shrinking!

I have one (not the whole kit), and use it for minor glass heating, to keep a finger or corner down, for instance. It works well after I pull the car out of the shop.  It does work for that, and nice not to run an extension cord outside or bring car back inside when the next car is rushed inside.

IMO, it does get hot, just doesn't have the air flow needed for shrinking efficiently.

I have expressed my opinion to marketing at Milwaukee, but they aren't looking to sell to the tinting market, so don't hold your breath.

It does a very good job for guys that wrap....I had to buy it again for my vehicle wrap department and the guys love it.  Beat hold a torch.......

  2. Square is a smart choice if you are doing less then 150k a year but poor choice if you are doing more.  The average cost of fee for our business is 2.25% using almost any merchant.  We reconciled our business every year on how we can save on anything...

    this years...

    1. Tranfer on att phone line to comcast...save $75/month

    2.  Cancell directv and got firestick with vue channel....save $60/month

    3.  Cancell yelp ad ($375/month) and tranfer ad money to Facebook lead generators ($200)....gross 18k in sale from first month.

    4.  Selling company 2017 Raptor and buying Tesla Model 3 ...save big time on gas and will be using it as a loaner car

ect....visit your number yearly and you can all save

  3. We used Revel POS for our detail department and used Clover for our protection department.

You guys should use Clover and buy the equipment ($400). This is why....most consumers use debit to charge.  Clover will allow your customer to input their 4 digit pin. When that happen you only pay a certain amout. Ours is .35 cent compare to  $6.50 for a $290 dollar charge.

Square is our back up if our internet goes down or if we need to send invoice to be paid thru email.

another reason to use a credit card processing machine that print out receipt and have customer leave tip thru signing instead of on a ipad/iphone screen.  We lost 4-5k in tip using square a month compared to customer sign a paper receipt.  This may not make sense to some but it does make sense.  Customer trend to tip more when they interact with you, pen and paper....then just a push that allow them to just sign and forgot to leave a tip.
