  1. Haven't heard anything and their website is booty, so not sure.
  2. We did the accreditation thing for a year and dropped it. It may look good to have in the flat glass part of things but being primarily automotive, I feel it is absolutely pointless. When it comes to regular customers, nobody is going to know what it is or ever care. Plus in the real world it doesn't really mean you're any good at tinting. I am sure the IWFA has a purpose that is beneficial to the industry but I don't see it nor will pay for it.
  3. They shouldn't be using Tapatalk anyways going into 2020. Just sayin'
  4. I got a chance to drive by today and there is already another company in the building.
  5. I honestly can't say, it just looks odd. I thought it looked a little brownish.
  6. Touch shiny and is a thicker film, harder to shrink which is why we passed on carrying it.
  7. This is the Obsidian 35, only did the rear window since it was a sample.
  8. That was only the older FX series which I believe now has been updated to not have that issue. All the films except FX have a color change warranty. One of the guys here has Color Stable on his car for over 3 years and still looks perfect.
  9. I have heard nothing but good things about it...know a few people that saw it.

  19. I love the "starts at $39,900" when the Tesla Model 3 was supposed to start at $35k but was $50k+ for the first couple of years. Even now when you add everything together it is more like $40k.
  20. I am a firm believer that if it is sold on Amazon, it is a no-go for me.
  21. It is more expensive of coarse since it is a Ceramic IR window film, but not horribly more expensive. Never carried the FX line, but you can compare it to the specs below. Installation is the same as a regular dyed film even though the film feels thicker. 3M Ceramic IR Brochure.pdf
  22. I didn't get a chance to go by there but confirmed with a former dealer that they closed up shop.
  23. Avery would most likely be a better quality film. Aegis is the only film I have seen to have noticeable dirt in the film on the roll. Saw it a couple of times back when we bought flat glass film from them.
