Baby wash, tint slime or film on for me.  I looked at the ingredients for the seventh generation dish soap.  It contains calcium chloride, ie road de-icer.  Good luck with long time use of that soap.

Calcium chloride is an inorganic compound, a salt with the chemical formula CaCl2. It is a colorless crystalline solid at room temperature, highly soluble in water. Calcium chloride is commonly encountered as a hydrated solid with generic formula CaCl2(H2O)x, where x = 0, 1, 2, 4, and 6. These compounds are mainly used for de-icing and dust control. Because the anhydrous salt is hygroscopic, it is used as a desiccant.

    Alrite thanks!!!😀😀😀

So it wont degrade the glue? Ive wondered about this myself as I want to limit my chemical exposures further as I have issues  am constantly having to detox my liver of all I expose myself to on a daily bases when tinting.

I was having problems with tint slime and Dawn eating up my glue and I spoke to a tinter on YouTube he told me about this stuff and it worked great

Thanks everyone! I was able to properly line up the film using the factory edges (I was doing it incorrectly before). Once I did that, the fingers were all shrunk with heat and I was able to get the side windows done today. For my first time tinting, I am very happy with the results, we shall see how it holds up.

As for the tint, I chose the Flexfilm Panaflex because it seemed like a decent quality film for my budget (more just to learn and practice since this is my college car), rather than those other cheaper films with just the dye injected in them. I also know that this probably isn't the easiest film to work with, but I think the trade-off for possibly better heat rejection is nice.

Thanks again everyone! I'll update when I do the rear windshield in a few days.

How you like panaflex is it blurry??? Seems like good film for price nanoflex is expensive !!!
