I half to give a huge shout out to some truly great people that I met on here. Most have never heard of me, but I met some great people on her e years ago.  I live in Lake Charles La. and we were just devastated by Hurricane Laura.  Two old friends that I met on this site, John Flemming “Tint Wizard” and John Champaign JR. “Cajun Tinter” have reached out to offer support, just out of the blue because they are awesome people!    Right now there’s really nothing anyone can do, but just remember, there are great people on this country that would give you the shirt off of their back, and these are two of them that I would have never met of out wasn’t for this site.  Thanks Tintdude for a great place to meet really cool people!

The bottom of that window needs to "snap" into what I call a reverse curve.  Sunbreakers is correct, tension is your friend on this one, the bottom, outside edges only need to shrink at the very bottom, and when installing the bottom center snaps back into a reverse curve compared to the rest of the window.

It most likely is your enviroment , lines or clusters  are usually caused by cleaning or handling issues.  Scattered specks can be blown in to the window film with exposed adhesive, it can be contamination from your slip solution etc!

Are they scattered throught the window, or they in lines or clumps?

Kind of long winded, skip forward a few minutes and watch, then comment!

Depends on the car and that is a loaded question that can turn into a D.M.C.!

D&P jobs are the only people I let wait unless it frends or family!

Quad-Band Antenna

A new antenna will appear on the Cadillac SRX beginning this month (fig.7). It has a plastic base and a stubby 3-inch (7.6 cm) mast. It is expected that this antenna will see widespread use in future model years.

The antenna is called a quad-band because it incorporates four separate antennas into one unit:

- XM radio

- OnStar GPS

- OnStar analog

- OnStar digital

Another similar unit, the tri-band, incorporates only the three OnStar antennas.

TIP: This antenna is not used for conventional AM/FM reception.

The quad-band antenna is installed to the vehicle?s roof much like the typical XM antenna, although it has multiple cables.

TIP: Do NOT apply paint or clear coat to the radio antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception or loss of reception of the XM digital signal.

I had an R&R on a crew cab truck a couple weeks ago that had 28% tint on the two fronts. the woman said the tinter told her it was legal because the law is now 25%. of course, the cop didn't see it that way. wrote her azz a ticket.

nothing worse than a dumbazz tinter who can't even enterpret the laws that govern his own business. we have good laws here in texas. all it takes is stupid mutherfukkers like this to screw it up for everyone. this bullshiat is why we almost had a law like california.
