How?

Heat form (or shrink), trim to fit, clean interior glass surface, spray wet adhesive, install film to glass, squeegee out all water, and dry edges.

Does that help?

Everyones skill level is different, and if there are relief cuts you should never notice them, but relief cuts on a civic should NOT be happening................EVER.

how exactly do releif cuts work?  :lol6

It's where you aren't able to shrink the film enough for whatever reasons and you go and totally ruin your one piece film you couldn't complete and hack it sideways along edges and defrosts and such to keep fingers from popping up.....

that was a long sentence :rollin

Hope I didn't offend anyone :spit

Ok well I have heard alot of people tinting in one piece. When I had my civic done at a local shop it appears that the tint is small strips between each defroster (only way I knew is because one of the strips began to peel back when I first got it).

So what is the best way to do it and why? Seems like individual strips would be a pain in the ass.

thats called the appalachian tint method. Its done that way because all the tinters

in KY can only afford to scraps from a real tintshop
