How not to scratch the car

I have scratched, dented, scuffed and even flattened tires accidently in my 18 years working on vehicles in one aspect or another.

But the one I can remember that takes the cake is when I hired a friend to help out temporarily and he decided it would be a good idea to use the heatgun to strip the old tint from the back glass of a Town Car.....

Well the heat didn't break the glass, but the heat deflected up and melted the headliner half way through the backboard.

Luckily I had that color in stock and the customer got a newly recovered headliner at no charge.

It's always good to have friends that do paint touch up or PDR

for the other boo boo's that happen from time to time.

Try Tinting in a TEDDY, they won't scratch the paint and even if it did the customer won't give a flip :lol2? :beer
