Mailing lables made EZ???

Recommended Posts

I wasn't sure where to put this - but since it does have to do with marketing, I figured I would try here.

I'm going to be doing a mailing, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on printing out the address labels. The last mailing I did was rather small and I just downloaded the template from the Avery (sp?) site and manually typed them in.

This mailing is going to be much bigger, and I really would rather make it as easy as possible.

I have Office.. (word, excel, etc) I'm sure there is some feature to do this but I don't know how...

Any suggestions?? I thought about using a database type program, but then I would have to create a new 'customer' for each address, which is just way overkill for what I need.

Thanks!!

Microsoft Works & Word Perfect are both good programs but the easy way is to use a printing program. Lexmark & Canon have good software that makes address labels. HP has a photo program that makes labels but I have never used it. Word Perfect has a trial that you can use for thirty days, or I can email you the Works program.

I just use the Avery address labels. I think they are like 1/2" by 2.5" I use Microsoft Word and use the labeling option where it asks you the Avery product # and then word has the label sizes all layed out for you. Just input an adress then hit tab and continue. When you run out of labels just "insert a new page".
