Sorry, Go slow, Dampen the area you are working in before you pull the liner and keep a constant check on the quality of your water.

OOOO or OOO steel wool works great the only thing I use.

this would be squeeged off when the final cleaning was done,

spray solution clean window with steel wool wipe edge and then squeege and wipe squeege edge with shop towel flush bottom with solution, shrink out tint, wet window but not the top 5 inches and install film.
