Master XY & Tint Tek - Drivers?

I'm interested in the Tint Tek 20/20 program. I have the Master XY 48" plotter. The Tint Tek website does not list this plotter as compatible. However, I was previously cutting vinyl with a Vinyl Express cutter using Signlab and a Roland driver....

So, my question is will a driver for a different brand of plotter run a Master XY?

Any suggestions/tips/answers are GREATLY appreciated!!

you need to talk to andy babiak at tint tek the only drivers I think they have are graphtec and rolland. you might be able to make it work but the patterns might not cut right.

dont waist your time calling Andy. He does not have drivers for your plotter, I have the same plotter. He told me if I wait a few months the plan is to be able to input tint teks patterns into Flexi (that is the rumor)

probably the other way around import graphics into tint tek that way everything is saved in there software. If you could import their patterns into flexi everyone would save them and not pay for the program ! Either way I can't wait, might actually save some film being able to move the patterns around.

it would be nice to save tint when cutting

I talked to tint tek today they said the new program is available at sema.

and yes you import the patern to flexi.

its not like the computer cut program.
