anybody been getting these? this sucks :thumb

warn you that the e-mail

sent by pmuzik@yahoo.com to sgiles@pioneer-net.com is infected with

virus: Win32/Sobig.F@mm.

Please contact your system administrator for further information.

thats what I figure too TD I scanned and updated the av as soon as I heard about the damn thing and still am getting slammed with the the emails and have gotten 3 or 4 notifications like the one above. OT seems to be feeling a little left out it seems think we should forward a few to him :lol6

anybody recommend a good, FREE, virus protection I can download. I checked at pcworld.com, but I've never dealt with virus crap before. but since this thing is going around, and I just got a new puter, I think I might ought to get one.

you can used this TheTintShop is a free antivirus software you can find it here http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php this is the one that everyone recomends if you don't want to pay for services like Norton or McFee I hope this helps also if any of you guys using microsoft outlook as you email software you should make sure the preview panel is off since if you preview an email, that will be the same as opening it hope this helps :hmmm

TTS if you got a new puter with a pre installed OS it should have a decent anti virus program with it, most likely norton or mcaffee. I've never tried a free one I just watch for sales or rebate deals at staples, office max, bestbuy and such or update it on line when the liscence runs out.
