why am I getting bubbles on the defrost lines where I shrink the fingers? and how the heck do you get them to not do this as it takes too long to repair them. thanks for the help in advance!

oh yeah, I wet shrink. I know I know you will say dry shrinking will fix it, but it doesnt happen all the time. and I like it wet!!!!

Id still say to you get with the times and get out of the wet comfort zone and learn dry shrink .

I noticed I had the same problem a long time ago with certain metalized films when wet shrinking ..after learning dry..never had a problem .

you can still have issues with defroster puckers with dry/doggy shrinking.

quit putting the gun so far down on the tint to go faster. take your time, work the fingers, hold the gun high enough to let the film shrink itself. yur hands are there just to supervise.

I used to get em more on cold days, maybe to much temp diff between the glass, film, cold weather, too much heat, amount of slip for the temp, who knows. amazing how many variables there are to putting on a friggin sticker.

I did find turning the defrosters on during the winter months helped.
