bubbles on defrost

when dry shrinking then, I tend to not be able to get the edges to shrink all the way.  any tips?

thanks rookie I thought I was having the problem only on the colder days. it was only 32 friggin degrees yesterday when I started. even let the car sit inside 70 degree shop for 2 hours b4 starting. hhmmmmmmm. whodathunk

dry shrinking should take care of all your defroster line bubbles, sometimes you might still get one, I'll take a rag and push out the bubble and hold it down with rag while you or somebody heats up the glass, the rag will keep your finger from burning. I also use this method around defroster points surrounded by glass(forester quarters, eclipse top corner)

I get the same thing and I dry shrink. It seems to occur more frequently on the tougher windows, that need to be shrunk more. I am probably trying to speed through it.

This is something that I will see happening immediately after I install the film, and I turn on the defrosters and use the heat gun on the outside of the glass where they are occuring, and I can usually take care of them in a few minutes. They do suck though, a few minutes that I would rather not spend on a job.
