Hey how do you tint pop out windows, with the latch? do you take the latch off, cut around it, and leave a slit? Also, does anybody have any advice about the file method on the front windows? I know somewhere there is a thread about this, but I can't find it, so can someone help? (are they the same thing?) J/K :lol6

thanks for the link, it helped a lot. its a latch that is stuck on the glass about the size of a 1/2 dollar, do I just heat it and peal, then re stick? is it the same for rearview mirrors when doing the strip up front?

I like to take the latches off and pop the whole window out, makes the install much nicer with no light gaps. but sometimes you run into some latches that are on old vehicles and dont come off very easy. the other tinter likes to cut around everything, looks awful sometimes.
