Years ago we use to install rear window louvers, mid to late 80's. Tint the doors and install a louver on the back. To install the louver you have to clean the glass with an alcohol pad to attach the mounting pad to the window. I cleaned the class with t/alcohol pad set it on the roof for 15-20 seconds. It etched into the finish. Ate right into the fiberglass. Told the guy we needed to finish the car late. He left it over night. We took it to a body shop, Pontiac dealer right next door. Car gets stolen that night :spit and has $ 8,000.00 damage. Yeah he got a free tint and louver to say the least. :lol2
