Does anyone know if these windows roll down and if so how. I have one in the shop and the windows look like they roll down some how, But I dont see any way to roll them down.

Of course this could just be another stupid ford design . At least this pos does not have typical ford felt on the doors.

the cheaper model looks like it rolls down but doesn't. the upgraded model, the windows roll down and you'll see the switch to do it. :thumb

The switch is under the dash.j/k. I have seen those trucks but haven't done one yet. I check wuth someone and get back with ya.1peec.

MP.P a long time ago said if you take the panel off on the back quarters there is a hidden window crank shaft behind the panel, you can put some vise grips on it and roll it up and down manually.

I have never tried it though :thumb

but I highly doubt the owner of the vehicle is going to pull the panel and clamp on some vice-grips to do that so why not just tint 'em in place? :thumb

I had an 05 ext cab come in with manual fronts and roll down style rears with no switches or cranks to be found. Plus it had vent shades over the top of the glass to make a precut even more difficult. Ford felt side and top seals-the works. I decided to yank the panel (2 minutes easy) and see if I found any surprises. And there was! There is a regulator and you will find a T30 torx bolt that you can roll the window up and down and precut and install like normal. One caution- You will have to r&r the door handle to r&r the panel, while putting it back together the handle will try to trick you on how it installs, then it won't work, so test it before you close the door, or it won't work. No trouble, just a little funny because you can bolt it in without it lining up and you won't know it till you test it.. You will see what I mean.
