sorry....this comment threw me off...
Do you think a professional tint shop would cut the defogger lines

or is it usually the private person thats trying it for the first time.

could the smuges be moisture behind the film and thats what your seeing now.

That's what I was gonna say. Ya' might wanna give it a few days before you totally lose it. You surely ain't gonna lose anything by doing so.

And, in case you thought you using a dryer on it should've cleared anything up that was under there.................you'd have to have had that dryer on there for about 3 hours straight to get that thing to cure at all.

Let nature take her course & the water evaporate under the film. Then see what you have after that.

Also............................ANY PICS???????????????????????????? (I think this would help a lot of folks to see what you're seeing!!!!) :eyebrows

personally, the smudge, might be of when the old film that was on there before, when removing, they might of missed that area of glass and some glue was left behind there, so when you apply the new film, when glue is left over, it looks like a smudge, kinda of wierd looking thing right?

it coudl be two things, they rushed it because it was a complaint, or the customer was rushing the tint shop to finish.....simple as that. take it back one more time, wait two weeks or three, if it still aint right, demand your money back and strip it off, but make sure you compensate them for a difference of the money for the labor they've spent on it.

my 2 cents
