thats funny...I was just talking to one of my customers who is in the navy and he told me he was on one of the ships that went to help that cruise ship that was being taken over by somalian pirates. he told me it was the most hillarious thing he had ever seen because there wee only a couple of them in t-shirts and slippers, one had a ak-47 and the other had some knives that looked homemade. he also said that you could literally smell them from a mile away and was suprised the people on the boat didnt smell them coming. :cool

Congrats TW. I've been there for my honeymoon ten years ago. The place for relaxing and especially romance in the Dominican Republic is the peninsula of Samana. Punta cana is more of a party place with too many Germans. DR is the cheapest place in the carribeans so expect the all inclusive drunk twice a day audience as well.

By the way I loved it in Samana. Don't miss out the "bacardi island".

I've been to Punta Cana B4 and really enjoy it .

Our room has it's own Jacuzzi, room service, outside balcony ocean front, hammock on the balcony with outside shower stalls on the balcony as well..gonna be sweet! :thumbdown

In the last few yrs , I've been to Punta Cana, Jamaica, Maya Riviera in Mexico, Cayo Coco Cuba, So were heading back to Punta Cana for the wedding& honeymoon, then about 6 weeks later heading back to Cayo Coco Cuba with the boys for some awesome snorkeling :cool

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.

      Need some help

      Never overlook the condition of the floor. Back when I did install, I used to mist the floor between the vehicle and the peel board. This is done between misting the window and walking toward the peel board to mist the pattern liner, peel liner and spray adhesive for install. Tacks any dust for the duration of each pattern install, so repeat each time a pattern is going to be installed.
