I don't care for the cutout look and I don't like to do it, but I h@te taking rear decks and seats out with a passion.

I tinted hundreds of cars last year by my hand, and I honestly can only remember cutting around 6 or 7. Bulldozer can make quick work of most, and the rest get cut out. I did warn the 6 or 7 forhand before doing so, and none had a problem. I did have one guy take his own deck apart before the install date a couple years ago, but other than that no one seems to have a problem with it and they keep coming back.

Oddly, if you have the right tools an know how, I would bet it might be faster in a lot of instances that removing the deck. I can cut out a window in about a minute if there is nothing impeding it like the C-pillars on a mustang

TRY climbing into the trunk and use a saws all to cut through the deck and remove the brake lite . use a fine tooth blade to get a nice clean cut.lot faster than taking seats out

What I don't get is why are they even still putting the 3rd brake light on the deck or molding it into it?  Looks much cleaner on the spoiler or even built into the trunk if you ask me  :wall

Yes, like the Mustangs and CTS, or even putting a frit around it like on my BMW's
