any ideas on rv mirror

on the new trucks they have a plastic housing arround the base of the mirror. anyone pull this off yet?

and of so how, Ive got one to do today, and dont want to break anything,

and no Im not tinting the front, just a sunstrip

Not trying to be smart but if you like to keep your $$$ , skip it as it's not worth the effort . You will lose $$ money messing with Ford mirrors .

Ive just been sliting the bottom and cutting arround them cause they have a new spring clip on the base, but I do understand.

Id just like to make them look more finished.

even the glass shops here say they havn't taken them off with out busting the glass.
