Tinting over tint?

dont layer it. if the new layer is just a little bit larger on the ledges of the older layer it will finger up on those windows after about a year or two. just pay the extra money for them to take the tint off. I had my car dbl limo for three years and two of the of those years had fingers up two of the rear doors and the back window. whe I removed the film I noticed that the newest layer was a bit larger, and where it overlapped is where the finger shot up. I added the second layer about two weeks after the first so the pieces weren't exact. you dont want to have problems like this, so just r+r the whole car.

I will put tint over tint as long as I did the first layer...

film over film is not recommended.

especially if you want it to look darker.

film will start peeling if you install film over film. avoid problems and spend a bit extra and remove the film and install jst one layer. its a new car so I think its worth the extra buck. it doesnt come good always when you are trying to save money, especially with most shops now adays being or giving competitive prices...

Having had an auto that had been double tinted before I am going to have to comedown on the side of Metint and Tint. If you just redo it you will be happier in the long run.

just strip the old stuff, you never know what quality that stuff is. It may look good now but in a year or two it might look like shiot.
