Compustar Range effected by Metalized Film

Hi,

I am tinking of changing our film from a dyed film to a Metalized Film.

Currently use Sungard Shadow and want to change to SolarGard HP Smoke.

We install tons of alarms and starters and tint packages.

Would the metalized film effect the range of a alarm or starter?

I know it effects the GPS and Nav on cars

I have just heard mixed opinions ragarding the topic and seeing how you guys are the best tinters in the world you guys would know best

even if a customer did have a concern just mount the antenna to the bottom center of the windshield.

I think most concerns about Metal film is that its going to decrease AM and factory navigation, and what blade said, put the alarm antena in the windshield.

I have also heard that it turns purple.

Well they don't list it as color stable. So eventually it will.
