I've never been big on installing automotive film on flat glass. UP is an automotive film. there are many other options out there if you don't like hilite.

What options are available... I enquired into Hilite70 yesterday and was quoted over $XX per roll ! without delivery to Cyprus...

I was fed the usual BS that its state of the art etc etc cutting 95% of Inrared...

I dont know in the states but in Cyprus a normal instal for flat glass the going rate is about CY?18 (US$XX) per square meter ( 1 square meter is about 11 square feet) at the price I was quoted I would have to charge 7 to 8 times the going rate!

Well that's kind of the point of those speciality films.

If people want the performance of the unique characteristics fo the film, then they have to shell out the money for it.

If they don't want to pay up, then they have to compromise.
