how can I cut 6 inches off a 72 inch roll of film....75 liner feet thick and not butcher the roll....

Grab a olfa blade, measure 6 inches on the roll, jam the blade into the box with the tip of the blade facing down. and pull your desired length. hope this helps.

if you have a floor or table you can pull it out on then lay the box top in front of the roll and box. Then put the blade through the film at the desired width and pull out how much you need to pull.....just watch the roll "wobble" as it can vary the cut a small bit....

if you need a precise cut then you may not get that exact...just depends on how tight the edges of the roll are.

thanks but im wanting to fit it on my fiml hanfler which is a 60 in model....I need 64 inch pieces...and each piece is 115 in long....I have cut film how you suggest and will have to if I cant figure a way to just cut the whole roll at once....thanks

Many distributors cut rolls that they sell, maybe one would let you know how they do it.

a paneling blade in a circular saw will do it, if you don't want a perfect edge to the film.....so I have been told.

Call a local distributor...have them cut it...there might be a small fee but it will be a better cut then you can do at home.
